Ticket and pass protection is essential for rail passengers, because rail passes and tickets are just like cash. If the ticket/pass holder is abroad and the rail pass or ticket is lost or stolen, they will not receive any type of replacement or refund unless they have the Ticket Protection Plan. Under the plan, the passenger is entitled to a full refund of the unused portion of their original rail passes or original unused rail tickets. This service is available for only £7, and covers all rail passes and tickets issued by RailAgent.co.uk.
The Ticket Protection Plan must be purchased at the same time as the pass or ticket. The box for the Ticket Protection Plan is already set to accept when ordering a pass or ticket online. If your client does not want to participate in the Ticket Protection Plan you may change this and decline the protection.
