The Eurail Global Pass offers consecutive day travel in the 20 European countries of the Eurail Network

ES* Italia is the Italian system of high-speed premier trains operating on routes connecting Italy’s main cities and towns. Enjoy first-rate customer service and beautiful scenery during your superfast, comfortable journey across Italy. All cars are air conditioned and pressurized. Services Onboard the ES* Italia
Accommodations for First Class Travelers
Passengers travelling first class on ES Italia trains will receive the following:
- On trains leaving before 1:00pm, a complimentary daily paper of the passenger’s choice.
- For those seeking privacy during the journey, the ETR 500 train also offers small sitting rooms each equipped with four armchairs and power outlets for mobile phones and computers. Reservation for these special sitting rooms are available only in Italy.
- In the morning, an Italian magazine is offered for 1st class travellers.
Assistance
ES* Italia personnel can provide travellers with information on timetables and special offers. Four seats are available for passengers with disabilities.
There is also a dedicated area for heavy luggage in every coach.
Refreshments
During certain times of day main meals are served in the restaurant car and coffee, drinks and other snacks can be purchased from the snack bar.
