The trains are 400 meters long with 18 passenger carriages and are considered to be some of the safest trains in the world, due to many advanced safety features. Eurostar also offers connecting tickets to over 100 destinations across France, Beligium, the Netherlands and Germany. The fastest journey times are 2hours and 15 min London-Paris, 1hour and 53 min London-Brussels, and 1hour and 20 min London-Lille!

The 7 Day North & South Island Pass includes unlimited travel on the Overlander (Auckland-Wellington), TranzCoastal (Picton-Christchurch), the award winning TranzAlpine (Christchurch-Greymouth via Arthur's pass)and the Interislander Ferry (Wellington-Picton) as an additional option. It is designed for independent travellers who want to get the best out of their New Zealand holiday and experience rail travel. Users can choose their own route, stop when they like and travel as many times as they wish within the validity of the pass which provides genuine savings off the standard adult fare, so the more you travel the better the value. THE FERRIES
From the decks for the Interislander ferries you can experience the stunning Marlborough Sounds and Cook Strait between the North and South Islands of New Zealand on one of the most beautiful ferry rides in the world. Travel as a foot passenger or with your car on the Interislander Ferry Line which operates two, three or four convenient seasonal departures daily in both directions throughout the year between Picton and Wellington.
All TransScenic trains include an open air viewing area and the carriages are carpeted, centrally heated and air-conditioned so you can sit back and enjoy the view from your panoramic window. The trains are licensed and include a buffet carriage where you can purchase a wide selection of light meals and snacks.
The pass is non-exchangeable and non-refundable once booked and the only requirement is that the start date be notified on booking.
